My journey began with a deep passion for music and DJing. At the age of 17, I started performing in nightclubs and soon saw an opportunity to organize events. The Journey of G&G Productions
Alongside my partner, we have transformed G&G Productions into one of South Africa’s premier event production companies. Starting as G&G Sound, a small sound business, we evolved into a full-fledged events company.
DJing and Early Challenges
In my teens, I was obsessed with house music and DJing, securing residencies at some of Cape Town’s most popular clubs by the age of 18. This was before the era of CDJs and controllers; I learned to mix on Technics SL 1200s turntables, carrying heavy equipment to gigs and mastering the art of vinyl DJing.
Conclusion
From humble beginnings and overcoming significant setbacks, to creating some of South Africa’s most iconic events, my career has been driven by a passion for music, design, and production. I continue to push the boundaries of the events industry, always aiming to deliver unforgettable experiences.
